Stitch Fix...the 8th?

Have I really gone through eight Stitch Fixes already? Do I not remember them because I haven't blogged about all of them? (har har) Well, anywho, I hadn't gotten one in almost a year, and two of my friends got them, and I got a little jealous, because there's no good shopping in the area, and I haven't treated myself to new clothes in a while. So, I got one.

1. Leota Abilene Dot Dress

I originally asked for all separates, as I wanted stuff for "back to school wear", but how can you resist this? Polka dots! While it makes my boobs look even more massive than they are, it does it in a tasteful way, so I kept it.

2. 41 Hawthorn Concord Striped Draped Pocket Cardigan

CARDIGAN WITH POCKETS. AND IT'S PURPLE. OH SO COMFY. Need I say more? Though, I've never met anything from 41 Hawthorn that I didn't like...

3. Le Lis Jolla Mixed Material Knit Top

This top I have mixed feelings about. One one hand, LOOK AT THE BACK. On the other, the sleeves and the flared bottom don't really flatter me. I love the color and it's really, really comfy. but the front is just...eh. I don't know. What do y'all think?

4. Market & Spruce Gillia Lace Detail Knit Top

When I "sneak peeked" my fix before it arrived, I as incredibly skeptical about this shirt. But, when I put it on, no regrets at all! It's super comfy and is a good fit for me. I love it.

5. Kut From the Kloth Haiden Straight Leg Jean

I'd never heard of Kut from the Kloth before I got them in my box. But, when I put them on, I heard the angels singing. These jeans are magical. Though, I was more surprised to find out that they were capris instead of jeans. It's like my stylist KNEW I was looking for a pair. I think these were my favorite item of the box. I'm wearing them in 3 & 4. I didn't think y'all needed an extra picture of my goofy faces just for a pair of jeans.

So, #8 was pretty successful. I kept everything! And as always, if you're thinking about signing up for a Stitch Fix, please consider using my referral link.

01 August 2015

Oh dear, I've done it again. I've abandoned my blog. To be fair, in May, I started work full time, then in June I started Summer semester, which I just finished tonight. Lots of things have happened.

Here's a quick list:
-Bought a few KnitFixes. Made some clothes. Made some failures.
-Started school.
-Got a personal trainer.
-My friend, Courtney, came to visit. Did all the quilty and zoo things.
-Brian came home.
-Started a quilt.
-Received some startling news.
-Finished school.

And here I sit, on my couch, reading a book. Paula Brackston's The Silver Witch, if you care to know.

One day, I'll update again. After all, I have three weeks off until school starts...
